Review
Appeals and complaints
How to appeal a decision, and how to raise a complaint.
Appeals
An appeal is made on factual grounds: a check read the paper incorrectly, a reference resolved to the wrong record, or a stated reason does not match the paper.
Write to info@acceleratedscience.org. A person will re-read the paper and the response will state what was re-examined.
Complaints
Complaints about conduct, process or a published paper may be raised by anyone, including people who have never submitted here.
Anonymous concerns are permitted. A concern about research integrity, an undisclosed conflict or procedural fairness is examined on the evidence submitted, not on the identity of the person raising it. A concern sent without contact details cannot receive a reply, and evidence that can be checked independently carries the account.
