Editorial board
How the board is built
Editorial seats are defined by subject area, drawn from the sub-core disciplines each journal publishes. Seats are filled by invitation, and appointments are being made now for the journals that are open for submissions. A seat is listed here only once the person who holds it has agreed in writing to hold it.
No name appears on this site before that agreement. Listing scholars who have not consented is a common practice among disreputable publishers, and it is one this publisher will not adopt, even at the cost of an empty page.
What an editor does here
An editor holds a named seat in a subject area and answers for the acceptances issued under it. Every other outcome is issued by the rule that produced it, and that rule is named to the author. An editor who has co-authored with a submitting author within the last four years does not handle the paper, and any declared interest is recorded on the decision.
